Electric Rice Company is the first brother-and-sister food cart project by Chef Eric Martinson and Restaurateur Willow Martinson. Inspired by the electric rice cooker, Eric believes that rice is the best side dish around.

Located at Park the Carts food park pod in North Portland, the fabric of Electric Rice Company was born out of love and respect for the cultural blend of Southeast Asian islands and Hawaiian cuisines. As second-generation Dutch-Indonesian Americans, Eric and Willow create a fusion delight, marrying the flavors of Indonesia with beloved Hawaiian dishes—such as their famous Hawaiian Mac Salad, Kalbi grilled chicken, pineapple and spam fried rice, Indo-Musubi, and more.

Founded on Friday, October 13th, 2023, Electric Rice Company prides itself on innovating with quality, fresh ingredients sourced from local producers to ensure top-tier quality and freshness. If you want a taste of paradise, come visit us Tuesday through Saturday.
